K S Sampath Kumar

K. S. Sampath Kumar is a civil engineering graduate from Bengaluru University (1991), who joined one of the leading consulting firms in Bengaluru and worked there for five years, then went abroad to consulting firms in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia — gaining rich experience at home and abroad, specialising in plumbing, sanitary, firefighting and industrial piping systems. Returning to Bengaluru in 1999, he started Sampath Kumar Associates in March 2000 as a proprietorship firm with a single-digit employee strength, now established as a Pvt Ltd company with a strength of over 75 people and a design office in Bengaluru. He is a life member of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers and the Indian Plumbing Association.
